[이솝우화] 사자와 야생 당나귀 🦁 THE LION AND THE WILD ASS 🦁 ライオンと野生のロバ

 

사자와 야생 당나귀가 함께 사냥을 나갔습니다. 
당나귀는 빠른 발을 이용해 먹잇감을 쫓고, 사자는 뒤따라와서 그것을 처치하기로 했습니다.
그들은 아주 많은 사냥감을 잡는 데 성공했습니다.
그런데 사자가 먹잇감을 나누는 순간, 그는 그것을 세 몫으로 나누더니 이렇게 말했습니다.
"첫 번째 몫은 내가 왕이니까 갖고, 두 번째 몫은 동료니까 내가 절반을 더 가져야 해.
그리고 세 번째 몫은… 너한테 줄 수도 있겠지만, 그랬다간 크게 후회하게 될 거야!"

🎓 교훈:
힘 있는 자는 정의를 가장하여 모든 것을 차지하려 한다.

 

THE LION AND THE WILD ASS

A Lion and a Wild Ass went out hunting together:

the latter was to run down the prey by his superior speed, and the former would then come up and despatch it. 

They met with great success;

and when it came to sharing the spoil the Lion divided it all into three equal portions.
"I will take the first," 

said he, 

"because I am King of the beasts; 

I will also take the second, because, as your partner, I am entitled to half of what remains; 

and as for the third--well, unless you give it up to me and take yourself off pretty quick, the third, believe me,
will make you feel very sorry for yourself!"

    Might makes right.

🦁 ライオンと野生のロバ

ライオンと野生のロバが一緒に狩りに出かけました。
ロバは足の速さで獲物を追い詰め、ライオンがやってきて仕留めるという作戦でした。
二匹は見事にたくさんの獲物を捕らえることができました。
そして、いざ獲物を分けるとき、ライオンは三等分して言いました。
「一つ目は私が獣の王だからもらう。
二つ目はパートナーとして残りの半分をもらう。
そして三つ目は…お前がすぐに立ち去らなければ、痛い目に遭うことになるぞ！」

🎓 教訓:
力ある者は、正義を装って全てを奪おうとする。
