[이솝우화] 천문학자 🌟🧑‍🎓 THE ASTRONOMER 🌟🧑‍🎓 天文学者

어느 천문학자는 밤마다 하늘의 별을 관찰하는 습관이 있었다. 
어느 날 밤, 그는 마을 문 밖에서 하늘만 바라본 채 걸어가다가 발밑을 보지 못해 마른 우물에 빠지고 말았다. 
그가 신음하며 누워 있을 때, 지나가던 사람이 우물 속을 들여다보고 사정을 듣더니 이렇게 말했다.
“하늘만 그렇게 열심히 바라보느라 발밑도 보지 못한다니, 네가 당한 일은 스스로 자초한 것이야.”

📖 교훈: 
하늘의 별만 바라보다가 발밑을 소홀히 하면 현실의 위험을 맞게 된다.

THE ASTRONOMER

There was once an Astronomer whose habit it was to go out at night and observe the stars. 

One night, as he was walking about outside the town gates, gazing up absorbed into the sky and not looking where he was going, he fell into a dry well. 

As he lay there groaning, some one passing by heard him, and, coming to the edge of the well, looked down and, on learning what had happened, said, 

"If you really mean to say that you were looking so hard at the sky that you didn't even see where your feet were carrying you along the ground, it appears to me that you deserve all you've got."

ある天文学者は、毎晩星を観察するのを習慣としていた。
ある夜、彼は町の門の外で空ばかりを見上げながら歩き、足元を見なかったため、乾いた井戸に落ちてしまった。
彼がうめきながら横たわっていると、通りかかった人が井戸の中を覗き込み、事情を知ってこう言った。
「空ばかり見て足元も見ないとは、自分でまいた種を刈り取ったのだ。
